Best Anarkali Suits Deepika Padukone:
Looks That Had Everyone Stumped
Is there any one single person who did not like Deepika
Padukone’s look in the Mastani song, I whole heartedly believe that the
beautiful layered anarkali suit in golden color is such a masterpiece and
deepika’s look in the anarkali suit was no less than that of a mughal queen.
She looked
like a dream and danced like a true goddess. The golden anarkali and angrakha
paired with sharara bottom, santhanik pagdi adorned with jewelry and
embellishments and a beautiful nath completed her look. The makeup is kept to a
minimal. The long flowy jacket, the inner golden floor length layer and the
sharara bottom with beautiful embroidery work make this a look to remember. The
mandolin in hand, the loose tresses and the perfection with which Deepika
exuded elegance is something that makes this look work more for me.
The Arrival Of The Queen
When Deepika
arrives in pune, she gets down from a palki wearing a layered anarkali suit
that has regal floral designs and sheer sleeves. The makeup is kept light
except for a little eye shadow, mascara and red lips. The beautiful anarkali
suit has been worn with double drape dupatta, with a sheer net dupatta and a
shawl. The draped shawls and scarves give Deepika the true look of a begum. The
look is complemented by the chain nath, statement hair jewelry and Deepika’s
eyes that work up there magic in the most amazing way every time she comes on
screen.
The Red Berry Anarkali Suit
Deepika wore
soft color hues for most of the scenes but there were one or two times when she
wore traditional colors like pink and red, and needless to say, she looked
mesmerizing. The red berry anarkali suits with embroidery work and
sheer red sleeves looks stunning. The outfit designed by Anju Modi was earlier
worn by Deepika on ramp as Anju Modi unveiled her Mastani collection. The
flared red anarkali suit is paired with red and golden lehenga. Again, here the
double dupatta drape is used to give more of a royal look to this anarkali
suit. One dupatta is in net that is taken over the head while the velvet red
dupatta is taken over the hand. In the movie, though Deepika is seen sans the
dupatta with loose tresses and nath. I am so digging this look.
The Light Blue Anarkali Suit
When Deepika
walks in the mahal of the Maratha Chhatrapati Shahu's i.e. Mahesh Manjrekar
politely asking for peshwa himself for the task of saving peshwa’s life in the
battlefield, she could have killed with her words and her look. The outfit in
soft color is paired with luxurious jewelry, statement nath piece and beautiful
embroidery work all over the outfit. The anarkali suit is truly inspired from
the royal style of the Hyderabadi Nizaam. The gold and pearl jewelry
complements the soft color hues of the outfit and the low makeup look adds to
deepika’s graceful look.
The saree
Deepika wore in pinga in maharashtrian way was also a regal look but the
anarkali suits truly stole the show.
